SMT becomes HID's first OEM Partner in Vietnam, launching S-SAFE software in Ho Chi Minh City

In the context of increasing demand for unified security, SMT Technology and international partners have just introduced a series of new solutions in Ho Chi Minh City, emphasizing the connection role between software, devices and artificial intelligence in modern security systems.
Ho Chi Minh City – SMT Technology Company just held the event “Unified Security Solution Showcase”, gathering major brands in the field of physical security such as HID, Genetec and Vaidio. The event introduces the Unified Security ecosystem and marks important steps in the cooperation strategy between SMT and global partners.

At the event, SMT announced to become HID's first OEM Partner in the Vietnamese market - the highest level of cooperation between HID and partners in the region. According to company representatives, this certification represents HID's recognition of SMT's technical capacity, integration and solution development in the field of Access Control. This step also helps SMT be more proactive in researching, customizing and developing solutions suitable for businesses in Vietnam, while also opening up opportunities for deeper cooperation within HID's global ecosystem.

Another highlight of the event is the launch of S-SAFE Access Control software, developed by the SMT engineering team and directly integrated with HID Controller. The software aims to provide a secure, flexible and user-friendly access management platform, while ensuring scalability and compatibility with many different systems. According to the plan, S-SAFE is expected to be commercialized by the end of 2025, marking an important step in the autonomy strategy SMT's technology and homeland security solution development.

Besides HID, the event also had the participation of Genetec (video management platform – VMS) and Vaidio (AI Video Analytics), providing a hands-on experience of a unified security ecosystem. Guests were able to directly observe how VMS, Access Control and AI Analytics can combine and operate on the same platform, helping to optimize monitoring, quick response and centralized administration – a trend considered the future of the security industry.

At the end of the program, SMT representatives emphasized the long-term investment orientation in research and development, aiming to bring smart, effective security solutions that suit the actual needs of Vietnamese businesses. With the spirit of "Accompanying - Sharing - Developing", SMT affirmed that it will continue to cooperate with international partners such as HID, Genetec and Vaidio to set new standards for the Physical Security industry in Vietnam.
